The staff of Christian Psychological Center is committed to active participation in community outreach through grants, donations, and volunteering our time.  We seek to utilize our skills to create ways to meet community-based needs for education, consultation, and training.  These services include: Divorce Recovery, Grief Support, Premarital Counseling and Care Giver Support groups.

We have the opportunity to work with several churches and urban ministries to provide consultation and assistance in program development, staff training, and counseling to meet the psychological needs of the people they serve. Utilizing our skills in partnership with other community-based programs to increase the scope or effectiveness of their outreach is a key component of our community work.

CPC Staff is involved in developing several training programs to increase the counseling skills of ministers and key lay leaders within church and parochial ministries. We periodically offer workshops for various groups in areas such as anger management, basic counseling skills, burnout, and conflict management.
