Prior to joining CPC in 2002, Laurie worked at St. Peter Home for Children, a residential treatment facility for adolescent girls with a history of neglect, abuse, and family problems. Laurie received her Master’s in Counseling from the University of Memphis, focusing on multicultural and adolescent counseling. Her B.S. degree is in Human Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. She is a National Certified Counselor and has received her Level I certification in Rapid Resolution Therapy.
Laurie is led to help in the healing process of women — both adults and teens — who are navigating through life with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, transition, and/or relationship difficulties. When seeing teens, Laurie encourages parents to participate in their own therapy, facilitating more complete growth and health for the entire family.
She does not accept insurance.
